Logistics

Our activity is a full-production game show! We have lights, curtains, buzzers, the whole deal, and contestants play in teams.
– Games last 20-45 minutes
– We can host 2-3 teams
– Teams contain 3-5 people

Questions are generally tailored to the event.  For professional development workshops, the questions relate to the material. For conferences, the questions relate to the general topic, and for private events, the questions can have nearly any theme the sponsor prefers.  We also offer a couple of “sponsor breaks” for paid events, where we stop to thank the sponsor and say a couple of words.  These are meant to happen at the beginning and end of each episode, but there’s flexibility there.

Each “episode” is a combination of a live event (which can take around 45 minutes to host) and the resulting online episode which generally lasts between 15 & 30 minutes. Sponsors of live events are automatically baked-in to the streaming episodes, but we occasionally add additional sponsors to the online versions. Every live episode also becomes a streaming episode, as there’s currently no option to decline the streaming option. The goal is that educators all over the world will watch the streaming episodes and learn something new.  Our mission is to spread education through entertainment.

We bring everything that makes it a gameshow, including:
– Host & Contestant Sound
– Video Equipment
– Set Dressings
– Quizshow Buzzers & Control

We do ask that you provide some standard items, including:
– Contestant tables (one 6-8ft table per team)
– Large screen with HDMI input
– Room sound system (if needed)
– Stage area (does not have to be raised)

We need 2-3 hours in the venue before the event to get set-up and about an hour after the event to break down.

We also prefer that sponsors provide a prize for each winning contestant for each episode, though we can provide those if we know in advance.  It’s also nice if the sponsor brings swag for the audience and/or mini prizes for the contestants that did not win.

Note: Organizations who pay to bring us to their locations automatically become primary sponsors of their live episode, as well as the associated streaming episode. Additional sponsors may be added, but live sponsors will not be removed from streaming episodes.

Season sponsors allow us to take Quizshow EDU to schools or other organizations who would normally not be able to afford the production.
